Voice of America: Push to Counter Israeli, Saudi Fears on Iran Deal Shows Little Progress
Top American and British diplomats appeared to make little headway Thursday in easing Saudi and Israeli fears about the historic international agreement aimed at keeping Iran from building a nuclear weapon.
In Washington, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry met with his counterpart, Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir, whose government has been alarmed about the deal with regional rival Iran.
Afterwards, Jubeir warned Iran not to use the money it is likely to gain as economic sanctions are lifted against it to fund "adventures in the region."
Update: Kerry vows to defend Iran-wary allies in Mideast as it seeks Iran deal support at home, abroad -- FOX News/AP
WNU Editor: U.S. vows are falling on deaf ears. From what my Arab and Jewish friends are telling me along with what I am reading from the Middle East .... what is emerging is a vastly different picture from what the White House is trying to portray. Bottom line .... U.S. allies in the Middle East have lost trust with this White House .... and that is not going to change for the rest of President Obama's term. While I expect Israel will try its best to maintain its "special relationship" with the U.S., the Arab states are going to pursue a more independent course. We are seeing such a state of affairs unfolding in the war in Yemen, and I expect we will see it even more so in the Iraq and Syrian conflicts where U.S. advice is listened to .... but then ignored.

The only U.S. Ally that had any trust in us at all in the middle east is Israel-- and they would never agree on a deal that promised any economic competition in the area.
Its about time we get new allies in the US.
