The US is to deploy F-22 fighter jets to Europe as part of efforts to support eastern European members of the Nato alliance unnerved by Russia’s intervention in Ukraine.
“Russia’s military activity in the Ukraine continues to be of great concern to us and to our European allies,” the air force secretary, Deborah James, told a news conference at the Pentagon. “For the air force an F-22 deployment is certainly on the strong side of the coin.”

The F22s exists? There is so much sturm and drang about front line aircraft that they are more myth and legend than fact. It seems that Congress is more parsimonius than Parliament was to the Duke of Marlborough. The Duke was a winner, but he could have won much sooner except for a stingy parliament. There is something maybe to be said for parliament in that England was not broke and France was. Revolution came to France and not England.
Still with 189 platforms, with so few tails with one loss, it is almost an infinite disaster
