6 Months Ago The Islamic State Threatened To Send 500,000 Migrants To Europe As A 'Psychological Weapon'

Bloody realisation: Four years after Gaddafi's chilling prophecy that the Mediterranean would become 'a sea of chaos' ISIS murdered 21 Egyptian Christians on a beach in Libya

WNU Editor: A sobering and accurate Daily Mail article from 6 months ago .... ISIS threatens to send 500,000 migrants to Europe as a 'psychological weapon' in chilling echo of Gaddafi's prophecy that the Mediterranean 'will become a sea of chaos' (Daily Mail).

It is also true that sadly .... Gaddafi did predict that this was going to happen before he was overthrown and killed .... As Predicted: Overthrow of Qaddafi Led to Horrific Migrant Crisis in Europe (Sputnik).

WNU,

One of the things I find remarkable is how you have stated that sometimes you have to rely on your "gut" to reach a conclusion. With all of the information available today it seems inconceivable that we would need to do this sometimes yet I often find myself having to rely on my "gut." I assumed this was a failing on my part.

Then I read this sometimes applies to you as well. For someone of your knowledge and experience which far exceeds mine to have to rely on his "gut" brings me a degree of comfort that I sometimes have to rely on mine.

My first thought, "gut" if you will, was that Western European nations needed to treat the "migrants" as an invasion force and deal with them in the same manner that a sane nation would deal with an invading military force. From the article, it seems my "gut" may have been right.

As for Libya, this one never made much sense especially the enthusiasm the Western European nations had for it. They had good oil deals with Libya, had arranged for the Lockerbie bombers to go back home as heroes in order to secure goodwill with Libya and its leader, and then an invasion to overthrow said leader. Even if the Americans wanted to do it the operation would have been impossible without Western European support.
