In 1914 the great powers had reliable MG's, rapid fire artillery and turn bolt repeating rifles, the result was a bloodbath, what I see today, the great powers have high tech missile systems,thermal imagining, drones and stealth etc, if or when war breaks out between the great powers it will be a bloodbath on a monumental scale. Everyone will be in shock when the see how well these weapon systems work, and like in 1914 they won't have a clue how to deal with it.
