Daily Mail: Two in every 100 Syrian migrants are ISIS fighters, PM is warned: Lebanese minister tells Cameron jihadists are coming 'under cover' to attack the West

* Two in every 100 Syrian migrants are ISIS fighters, PM has been warned
* Lebanese education minister said jihadists were being sent 'under cover'
* If true, it could mean up to 400 of the 20,000 refugees Britain has promised to accept by 2020 have been radicalised
* Warning came as Cameron visited refugee camps in Lebanon and Jordan

Two in every 100 Syrian migrants smuggled into Europe are Islamic State-trained fanatics, David Cameron was warned yesterday.

Lebanese education minister Elias Bousaab, who met the Prime Minister during his lightning visit to the region, said the extremist group is sending trained jihadists ‘under cover’ to attack targets in the West.

If true, it could mean up to 400 of the 20,000 refugees Britain has promised to accept by 2020 have been radicalised.

WNU Editor: 75 percent of the refugees trying to get to Germany and Scandinavia are .... according to the UN .... males and most of them are of military age. It does not take a stretch of the imagination to realize that a good of number of them have probably seen combat, including fighting for the Islamic State.

This is a corollary to my belief that the West's current mideast policies move us inexorable to the use of nukes. The West's current immigration policies will lead to large scale loss of life, either to those going to Europe or those currently residing there. Both policies close off alternative resolutions forcing the issues into all or nothing results.
Even the two in a hundred stat is misleading and dangerous. Given the demographics of the wave (mostly men of military age), a stat of 4 in ten to include sympathizers is more like it.

Not sure if I'm buying it. IS fighters go to a lot of trouble to get to IS territory. Why would they go to Europe? There might be a few small cells there that would carry out terrorist attacks, because those never fail to help advance their agenda, but that many would be pointless.

they might not be, but the mere idea is enough to terrify Europe, which has grown soft and used to comfort for over 50 years. maybe a psyop by IS.

Daniel,
You might be right, but I don't think so. This is too good of an opportunity for ISIS to accomplish several goals at once. The in house guys running ISIS (arabs, ex Baathists, etc) need to keep the foreign recruits busy if they don't want them to become threats for control of ISIS itself. I think their recruiting efforts are going better than is being reported and they have too many foreign guys, so start sending them back to keep the numbers under control, improve recruiting in the West, and establish larger organizations. From their viewpoint this would be an ideal situation for this, but they could have not foreseen the general backlash this is creating. It's so hard to tell since everybody is lying their asses off. Well there's a good chance I'm full of it.
