More Details On The Killing Of The Islamic State Leader's Deputy By U.S. And British Special Forces Has Been Released

Assault: A Yazidi girl kidnapped by ISIS's oil chief Abu Sayyaf has revealed in detail, how US and British special forces raided his house and killed the extremist

Daily Mail: Inside the only SAS and Delta Force raid on an ISIS leader: How Baghdadi deputy was shot twice in the chest as he grabbed gun and his wife pretended to be a Yazidi sex slave in cowardly bid to evade capture

* British and American special forces raided Abu Sayyaf's hideout on May 16
* They rescued Yazidi teenager who has told the story of their daring assault
* US bombarded complex in eastern Syria with machine-gun fire and rockets
* Then around 15 members of Delta Force moved inside, shot Sayyaf dead

A captured Yazidi teenager has told of how US and British special forces raided the house of a high-ranking ISIS fighter, shot him down, and arrested his wife who pretended to be a sex slave in a cowardly bid to avoid capture.

Under cover of darkness, the thwump of Black Hawk helicopters cut through the hot night above the rooftops of Deir-ez-Zor in the early hours of May 16.

Deep in ISIS territory, 15 special forces soldiers from the US elite Delta Force exited the choppers and made their way towards the home of ISIS's chief financier and head of oil operations. He was also the 'best friend' of the terror group's leader.

They had been tipped off about the secret location of Abu Sayyaf and his jihadi bride, who runs its vicious sex slave network, through local Kurdish forces who work as informants for the CIA and Pentagon.

WNU Editor: I thought there was a Pentagon directive released only recently that no details on special forces operations are to be released. Hmmm .... it looks like the Daily Mail found a different source for their information. This is still a good read, and it reveals how intense the war against the Islamic State has become.

My 2 cents on DailyMail. The newspaper is not trustful at all, and in the last years its reputation has declined day after day..

I may be nit picking here, but there are several inconsistencies in this story that I'll get back to.
The timing of this publication of an event three months old just when the Russians are setting up shop in a big way is of note. As far as "Pentagon directives on detail release" it doesn't say someone else can't do it (wink wink nudge nudge). Even if it's a red herring, blabbing about Kurds in the AO is going to get some of them killed. Corbyn just got elected to Labor Leader and this just pops up. Ah politics, politics, it's all these guys seem to know.
As for the actual narrative now I don't have time, but one thing(I know SOP guys have language skills but) jumped out, the Yazdi girl either speaks english or the troopie speaks yazdi, same for the wife in whatever language she used. No mention of what happened to to the brother in law.

Finally, wearing white socks with sandals is always a crime subject to severe punishment.
