Editor`s Note

I am upgrading my internet service at the moment. Unfortunately, I will be off-line until that is done .... which will be (should be) later today. I was not aware that they would have to de-activate my existing service until that is done .... so I am in that place where I surfing the web on my smart phone ..... which is not the same. :(

Update 17:15 EST: My internet service has been restored and upgraded. Wow .... I had high speed before, but what I have now just blows my mind. Unfortunately .... I have a hundred and one things to do right now. Blogging will return early tomorrow morning.

Yet our southern neighbour has both faster speeds and much cheaper prices.

I appreciate the Canadian government's initiative to disrupt the Bell/Rogers monopoly and introduce competition but more needs to be done.

Comcast, AT&T, Time Warner, Verizon, AOL, CenturyLink, Cox, etc.... the list goes on.
