W. James Antle III, National Interest: The Jeb Bush Collapse Has Arrived

Bush may well hand the party establishment its first nomination loss since his father was beaten by Ronald Reagan in 1980.

Jeb Bush’s stunning collapse in Wednesday night’s debate was an apt symbol of the 2016 Republican presidential race so far.

For all the talk of the combined vote share going to candidates like Donald Trump and Ben Carson, individually they are polling little better than Pat Buchanan in 1996. The real story is the weakness of the Republican establishment, perfectly illustrated by Bush’s stunning ineptitude at connecting with the primary electorate either on the campaign trail or the debate stage.

WNU Editor: I have trouble seeing him succeed in this campaign. His message (whatever that is) is not resonating, and citing his past accomplishments as Governor is not impressing the Republican primary voter. And while I do expect him to continue to campaign ... and if recent leaked documents are any indication redoubling his efforts in January .... Jeb Bush's Campaign Blueprint (US News and Word Report) .... my advice to him is that even after spending tens of millions of dollars (and with the Bush name and organization behind him) that the best that he can do is get support levels at around 6% to 8% .... I fail to see how spending even more money is going to change anything.

WNU,
It's funny how when times change alot of people can only see it through hindsight.

I cannot imagine to see this oligarch or Clinton in power again together this people have been in control of America for too long they see a solution for problems created by the government on the first place by creating even a bigger government.
