Daily Mail: Obama and Putin's power huddle: The two most powerful men in the world hold 30-minute meeting hunched over a coffee table at G20 after the president vowed to 'redouble' fight against ISIS
* Pair were huddled on the sidelines of the G20 meeting away from reporters
* They could be seen on a television feed but the talks could not be heard
* Obama said 'skies have been darkened' by the attacks in Paris on Friday
* He pledged solidarity with France and its effort to hunt down perpetrators
* But he offered no details about what the U.S. or its coalition partners might do to step up assault against ISIS
* Obama had been criticized for claiming ISIS was 'contained' just a day before the series of coordinated attacks left 129 dead in Paris
President Barack Obama sat down with Russian President Vladimir Putin for crucial talks on the sidelines of the G20 summit as both countries pledged to eliminate ISIS and end the Syrian war that has fueled its rise.
Their huddle over a coffee table in Antalya, Turkey, on Sunday came after the extremist group claimed responsibility for Friday's horrific coordinated attacks in Paris that left 129 people dead and hundreds injured.
The two leaders, who saw each other for the first time since Russia started air strikes over Syria in September, chatted in a foursome with Obama's national security adviser Susan Rice and a Russian aide.
WNU Editor: They talked for 30 minutes .... that is a lot of talking over a cup of coffee. For Putin .... this has become a validation for his strategy in Syria. For someone who was shunned only a few weeks ago .... everyone is now coming to him (including President Obama) .... at least that is how they are playing it in Russia. On a side note, the above short video is fascinating to watch. I see one bodyguard (probably Putin's) .... but that's it. CNN's Michelle Kosinski's analysis of this gathering is spot on, and it reminds me of my own experiences long ago when I was a minuscule diplomat who found myself at these gatherings in the UN and elsewhere .... Inside the Obama-Putin power huddle (Michelle Kosinski, CNN).

The Americans were "mildly surprised", but they made sure the camera caught the meeting before closing ranks.
The talks were "constructive", my guess Obama said this, this, and this must happen and Putin said yes, maybe, and no. That is one big dude Putin's got for a guard!
