Why Is Jeb Bush Still Running For The GOP Presidential Nomination?

Politico: Jeb Bush plummets in latest national poll

Trump and Carson continue to lead the GOP field.

Jeb Bush's support among Republicans nationally has plummeted to the low single digits in the latest Quinnipiac University survey released Wednesday, as the former Florida governor's campaign seeks to hit refresh with its "Jeb Can Fix It" tour.

Donald Trump and Ben Carson, meanwhile, continued to lead the field, with Carson outperforming Hillary Clinton in a hypothetical general-election matchup.

In the latest poll, conducted after last week's third GOP debate in which Bush delivered a mediocre performance, just 4 percent of Republican and independent Republican-leaning voters said they would support Bush in their state's primary. In the September survey, Bush earned 10 percent, trailing Trump, Carson and Carly Fiorina. And in terms of favorability, no one polled lower than Bush, at a net-negative of 33 points. Just 25 percent of all registered voters surveyed said they had a positive opinion of him, while 58 percent said they had a negative one.

WNU Editor: It is hard to believe that only 6 months ago he was the man to beat .... and in places like Moscow and Beijing .... a good majority believed that he had a good chance on being the next President of the United States. Today .... if Jeb Bush wins the Republican Presidential nomination .... it would be one of the greatest political comebacks in U.S. history. But as it stands .... with the exception of the media and certain groups in the Republican party .... no one is interested in his message.

People who voted for GWB twice would not vote for GWB a 3rd time nor Jeb for the 1st time, because of illegal immigration.

They want to give you Amnesty 1st and faintly promise you an effective border fence.

People are sick of it.

If the Country club wing of the Republican party dies or the whole party itself, we will form another party and not invite those bastards in.

You cannot mention building a fence 1st and then having amnesty. I could go for that. But when I bring it up I inevitably get beaten like a red headed stepchild. People simply do not believe that the political class will build an effective fence nor prosecute business for hiring illegals.

Jeb does not look as manly as GWB. He looks like pudgy and soft. If he had manicured hands, it would not be a shock.
