RT: Apocalyptic scenes of Damascus suburb obliterated by violent clashes (RT EXCLUSIVE DRONE FOOTAGE)
The Jobar neighborhood of Damascus is the epicenter of some of the fiercest fighting in Syria with Islamist rebels refusing to give up their only stronghold. Once densely populated, the area has now been completely obliterated, RT’s Murad Gazdiev reports.
Most of the pre-conflict population has fled the rebel-held neighborhood of Jobar in the eastern suburb of Ghouta in Damascus, while fighting between the Syrian army and rebel groups has devastated the suburb over the past years.
WNU Editor: Four years ago this was a suburb filled with people .... today .... as this drone footage depicts .... nothing but destruction and an emptiness of life as far as the eye can see. A truly shocking video.

A few other things not seen in this video: I may have missed some, but not one car, truck, bus, etc could be seen. Not one working, burned out, or just a hulk sitting there. No phone or electric lines, a few poles but no lines anywhere. No dogs and no birds. Now I did see signs they used some time lapse photography and that could make the birds hard to see. Vegetation overgrowth was about right for the amount time fighting has occurred here. Noticed also lot's of earth berms thrown up for direct fire denial. No trash build up (especially paper). Other than that it looked just like Detroit.
As usual ... you have a very sharp eye James. You see things that we just gloss over .... but should be noted. Thanks for your continuous input.
Ah thanks, but it's more along the lines I've not that much to do and feeling talkative.
