Flight Global: Reviving F-22 Raptor production a ‘non-starter’
The secretary of the air force has become the latest official to douse hopes of restarting Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor production, which was capped at 187 aircraft and closed in 2011.
The tooling and equipment needed to produce the twin-engine air-superiority fighter, which was barred from export because of its sophistication, remain in storage along with video instructions for various assembly processes.
This equipment will aid in the remanufacture of spare parts for the aircraft and its two Pratt & Whitney F119 engines, but some Raptor advocates want to see the assembly lines in Marietta, Georgia and Fort Worth, Texas reborn. This was done for improved versions of the Lockheed U-2 and Rockwell B-1.

Update: The Air Force Refutes Rumors It Will Make More F-22s (Popular Mechanics)
WNU Editor: It is not going to happen. Too much money and careers have been invested in the F-35 production line .... restarting the F-22 production line would reflect badly on everyone.

Exactly correct, WNU editor, the F-35 is the largest military acquisition program ever conceived to benefit the largest military contractor in history and all the uniforms are on board. The Air Force PR guidance on F-35 is here. It starts off:
1.PURPOSE:
Provide guidance to Airmen on the F-35A in order to:
1) Articulate the capabilities of the aircraft and explain it is a capability warfighters must have (explain why we need the F-35)
2) Debunk false narratives and inaccuracies reflected in news media reporting; and
3) Emphasize the importance of the Air Force fielding the capability and having the capacity to best support combatant commander needs.

Lockheed Martin is due to report Q4 2015 earnings on 26th January 2016 before markets open.
Lockheed Martin has surpassed earnings estimates over the last four consecutive quarters and recently upped its fourth quarter and full-year guidance thus increasing its chances of topping estimates again.
They should have just kept it going this whole time... Such a beautiful machine!
