The Telegraph: The top 10 risks to the world in 2016 — the ailing trans-Atlantic partnership is number one
The Eurasia Group's annual list of the political and geopolitical trends that threaten stability focuses on the weak relationship between the US and Europe
Each year the Eurasia Group, a global political risk research and consulting firm, produces a list of the top 10 risks to stability for global investors. This is their list for 2016.
WNU Editor: No mention of Afghanistan .... nor the growing debt crisis.

The US is principally to blame for the ailing trans-Atlantic partnership.
--the obvious failure in Afghanistan, which was a mistaken US project post-9/11.
--the US-sponsored coup in Kyev, which severely weakened Russia-Germany ties, along with Nuland's publicized "f*** the EU"
--the NSA snooping on communications of Merkel and others
--the US-led destruction of Libya
--the US/Saudi/Turkey led destruction of Syria, this and Libya producing a heavy immigration burden on Europe
--the US sanctions on Iran, which hurt Europe also
--the US-Turkey collaboration, the latter a NATO member yearning for former glory
One can argue that the breakdown was engineered by the US to increase its own economic primacy vis-a-vis Europe.
