I'm not entirely buying this, first off the U.S. is listed as fairly low-corruption, despite all the scandals and leaks. Looking at this contradiction, it's likely that what this group considers and doesn't consider corruption is different from what I or we consider corruption.

Another point to think on is that these groups that track corruption, have for a long time been painting a narrative dichotomy between Democracy and 'Authoritarian' nations, with Democrat nations being less corrupt than those evil 'Authoritarian' regimes. Now thru my personal research I've come to the position that Democracy requires a strong foundation to operate, stuff like high-trust society and decent education, and a country with a population 2/3 illiterate roughly divided 60/40 into two ethnic groups is NOT going to do well. these countries then collapse under the pressure and take on a different government type. Which means these corruption tracking groups are excluding the failures and the nations they don't like( pre-maidan Ukraine, Russia, Zimbabwe( believe it or not do have elections)) from the Democracy team to support the narrative.
All of this to say that this group might be heavily biased when doing these charts.

I really think they have to broaden how the determine corruption, Ive seen corruption first hand in Canada, it's very subtle, and old boy. I call BS on this list.

Hillary and Obama are not corrupt!

Just ask them of the sycophant, butt-munching media.
