Russia Beyond The Headlines: T-90 Vladimir tanks join the fight for Aleppo

Russia’s brand-new T-90 tank is seeing its first military involvement in the battle to push back forces opposed to Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad from around the city of Aleppo.

I've been interested to see how these machines perform in combat. Especially with Arena. Something tells me a T90 gives its buyer more bang for their buck.

The combination of T-90's and upgraded T-72's and T-80's, seems to be making a difference. The SAA used tanks mostly as mobile assault guns, or as bunkered direct fire support, as in open ground, the jihadi's TOW's killed attempts to use tanks as tanks.

Now, in the Aleppo and Ildib fighting, tanks are being used as tanks and are surviving.
