US Secretary of State John Kerry demanded today that Russia stop bombing anti-Syria forces. Lavrov ignores Kerry demand. Kerry holds breath and turns purple. Lavrov ignores Kerry entirely.
Reminds me of the unarmed cop in England chasing a bad guy. "Stop or I yell stop again."
Sorry that I'll.
I suppose the Syrian Turkmen are leading the exodus to Turkey, plus the jihadis who know their way around Turkey because that's where they transited into Syria. So Erdogan will have that to deal with, plus the rumblings of a Kurdish state on his border. Removing Asssad then becomes a much lesser concern to Erdogan.
