I am surprised this is not required reading/viewing.

They always tell of individual crimes of people engage in corruption for their own purposes. The angle is they almost always or always get caught and they do.

It took 1 guy 2 or 3 decades to get caught and tried.


The more endemic rot is not talked about such as the Pentagon Papers or the Fat Louie scandal was not talked about.

Then again the Fat Louie conspiricists believe they were justified. After all how many spouses gave away ship's movements with the active assistance of their partners?
