The Telegraph: Turkey says it will create a 'safe line' inside Syria
Turkey has long pressed for a safe zone, backed up by a no-fly zone, to protect its borders and provide protection for refugees on Syrian soil
Turkey has said it is seeking to create a "safe line" inside Syria that would include the flashpoint northern town of Azaz near the Turkish border.
"We want to form a 10-kilometre (six-mile) safe line inside Syria, including Azaz," Deputy Prime Minister Yalcin Akdogan told A Haber television in an interview.
Turkey has long pressed for a safe zone, backed up by a no-fly zone, to protect its borders and provide protection for refugees on Syrian soil.
Akdogan did not elaborate on the dimensions of the proposed zone or how it could be created.

Looks like turkey has just instigated its red flag operation to invade syria.
There secret service maybe a little to obvious this time.
fazman, that is my next post at 16:00 EST
This "safe zone" is a R2P ploy that has been long advocated by the US. It was expected to include a "no-fly zone" which could be used for regime change, a la Libya, but now it's simply a hopeless stab at a Plan B to break up Syria, using Turkey. But now Russia has a vote on the ground and in the UNSC.
On the bright side, Ergodan's plan has gone from an Occupied Safe Zone with a No Fly Zone,
To some kinda "Safe Line", probably drawn in pencil, or if's he was having another bad day, his aides probably made him use a crayon.
If Turkey really wants a safe zone they should stop attacking everybody else ...
And if history can be use for example they are not going to stop...
So who would make it "safe?"--Only Russia has that capability, and Russia certainly won't accommodate Turkey.
Compare
Siria from 2010 to how a long five years of conflict have destroyed everything .
Turkey have blood on it's hand's along with Saudi Arabia they are responsible for the blood of thousands of inosents is getting closer and closer to the numbers of the Spanish civil war.
Erdogan will not get his "safe" zone and if he keeps it up, it won't be Syria's territorial integrity that's in question.
