Osama bin Laden’s Was Committed To 'al Qaeda’s Long Game'
From Times Online:
Daily Beast: Osama bin Laden’s ‘Bookshelf’ Reveals al Qaeda’s Long Game
Captured documents released by the U.S. reveal the extent of al Qaeda’s strategy, which may include negotiated ‘truces’ in Syria and elsewhere.
When 113 new documents recovered in 2011 during the fatal raid on Osama bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, became publicly available this month, perhaps the most noteworthy insight they offered was the extent of the strategic patience, to borrow a phrase from the Obama administration, possessed by al Qaeda.
Along with other captured documents, what the U.S. Director of National Intelligence calls “Bin Laden’s Bookshelf” reveals the cunning long-term planning that characterized the group’s approach at the time of bin Laden’s death, and that continues to guide it today, affecting not least the actions of its affiliate, the al Nusra Front in Syria.
The record shows that the United States often has overlooked the extent of al Qaeda’s patient approach, sometimes mistaking its relative quiet for inactivity or collapse, and our failure to understand the group has helped it to gain critical operating space, and even worse, has sometimes caused us to blunder into its traps.

WNU Editor: If these captured documents are accurate .... Osama Bin Laden did have a long-term view, and he was definitely patient about it.

Very bored while patiently waiting. Thus all the pornography, very Islamic.
All that pornography needed, when one can have multiple wives and trade them in for newer models? So how does Islam make people better?
Nothing makes people better. They might improve, to someone else's standards but will eventually fall back into what they were. Religion has only temporary impact, except for the already insane, and one man's religion versus another's is simply an excuse for a war they would have had over some other difference.
As for Bin Laden's porn, if true that only shows his temporary move towards non Islamic culture, something that people in the West would see as an improvement. Either that or to know one's enemy you have to study their culture and so maybe he was only doing research. But then it could simply be a US attempt to besmirch an enemy in the eyes of his own people since he isn't available to defend himself.
As for multiple wives, don't envy Bin Laden remember multiple wives bring multiple mother-in-laws.
The guy watched porn, I think it isthat simple.
