Reuters: Turkey struggles for response as violence spills beyond Kurdish southeast

The second suicide bombing in a month in the heart of Turkey's capital has raised fears of a dangerous new phase in its war with Kurdish militants, bringing deadly attacks to its biggest cities in violence fueled by the wars in Syria and Iraq.

Security officials say the two perpetrators of Sunday's car bombing, a man and a woman, were linked to the outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), which has waged a three-decade insurgency for Kurdish autonomy in southeast Turkey.
