John Dyer, VICE News: The Black Flag in the Balkans: The Islamic State's Links to Bosnia
The German magazine Der Spiegel recently reported that the Islamic State is finding fertile ground for its ideology in rural Bosnia.
Der Spiegel reports that in some tiny, remote villages in the country's north, residents practice Sharia law and fly the militant group's black flag.
'In some remote villages, the black flag of IS is flown..." the article says. "The Sarajevo public prosecutor responsible for terrorism investigations admits that there are places in the northern part of the country where up to 40 Islamist families live in accordance with Sharia law and where IS symbols have been discovered."

WNU Editor: There are estimates that more than 300 Bosnians have joined the Islamic State group in Iraq and Syria .... so yes, there are ISIS sympathisers in Bosnia. But if there is a safe haven/region in Bosnia for ISIS militants, they are keeping it well hidden. The above video is a 3-month old France24 report on the rise of radical Islamists in Bosnia.

Bosnia has never been "rebuilt", remains both divided and occupied by NATO and the EU,
And the US program of flying in hundred's of "Afghans" to fight against the Croats and Serbs left a fertile seed of jihad in the rocky soil of Bosnia.
21 years after the end of the war, very little has been "fixed" in Bosnia, which is why Bosnia is #13 for supplying refugees to the EU.
