BBC: Panama Papers: Iceland prime minister resigns
The prime minister of Iceland has resigned - the first major casualty of the Panama Papers leaks which have shed an embarrassing spotlight on the world of offshore finance.
The leaks, from Panama law firm Mossack Fonseca, showed PM Sigmundur Gunnlaugsson owned an offshore company, Wintris, with his wife.
He was accused of concealing millions of dollars worth of family assets.
A big protest was held in front of parliament in Iceland on Monday.
Reports suggest the agriculture minister will be the new PM.

One down! My guess is he'll be the only world leader to be impacted by this. Now to see what happens with the DC Madam scandal.
A baby face is no protection against the envious.
It is Iceland and far far away, but this resignation warms my heart.
Now if they could just tackle the corruption in the "bankrupt American Afghanistan".
Nothing like raising taxes and being unaffected because you can always swing a deal to make enough to get what you want due to political connections.
