Russia and China will hold "many more" military drills in 2016 than last year.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The number of international military exercises between Russia and China will be increased in 2016, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said Wednesday.
“We assess the level of Russian-Chinese contacts on both the government and military levels as high. This year we will hold many more exercises and events than last year,” Shoigu said during a meeting with Chinese Defense
Minister Chang Wanquan in Moscow.Shoigu said military exercises would be held on the ground and at sea.
