Pentagon Releases A Video Of A US-Led Precision Airstrike Against The Islamic State



Business Insider: Watch a US-led precision airstrike obliterate an ISIS weapons cache

The US military has released a video it says shows the US-led anti-ISIS coalition obliterating an ISIS weapons storage facility near Qayyarah, Iraq.
The airstrikes were conducted April 1 as part of a larger operation by the coalition on that day, with 17 strikes being carried out throughout Iraq and Syria.

US Central Command said the airstrikes near Qayyarah hit a range of targets beyond the weapons cache. The coalition also conducted two airstrikes that destroyed a tactical vehicle and two mortar positions used by ISIS, the militant group also known as the Islamic State, ISIL, or Daesh.
