New York Daily News: Watch: Daily News staffers try destroying items covered in Line-X's indestructible coating

You'd think cracking an egg would be much easier than this.

The Daily News recently got to test the durability and strength of Line-X, a spray-on protective coating that makes things "indestructible." Staffers tried breaking eggs, light bulbs, clay pigeons and red solo cups, but none of them broke, cracked or even dented.

Line-X is mostly used for truck bed liners, but it's also been used for blast-protection on military vehicles and inside the Pentagon.

Dennis Weese, Line-X president, said the coating is made of pure polyurea which combines strength and flexibility to maximize toughness.
