Washington Times: Iran threatens to sink US ships with secret arsenal
‘Carrier killer’ in the midst
The Iranian Revolutionary Guards have threatened to sink American ships if they approach Iranian waters. The senior naval officer making the threat referenced a “secret arsenal” of weapons Iran has developed or acquired that would be effective against American naval vessels.
Most likely the Iranians are referencing anti-ship missiles acquired from China or Russia, whose navies have long pursued a “carrier killer” missile capability to deter American power projection capabilities.

Ask the how the last encounter went p thought theyd be sick of building artificial reefs.
Im aware of their anti ship m8ssiles as is the usn.
You might remember the last encounter occured during the Iran Iraq War.
You might also remembered what happened the last time oil went over $142bbl.
The u.s wasnt it keeping it open then
The US was keeping Iraqi oil exports flowing through the Iranian Blockaide during the Iran-Iraq War,
And the $142bbl price hit after the US completely trashed it's Occupation of Iraq.
All Iran has to do is sink a couple tankers, and the Insurance rate hikes will close the Gulf to shipping. (Japan doesn't have the money to pony up anymore, and China, who does, isn't interested).
