Is The Media Supporting Hillary Clinton?
The Hill: Hillary’s unlikely ally: The media
Hillary Clinton has an unlikely ally in her bid to defeat Donald Trump this fall: the media.
The Democratic presidential front-runner has had a long, contentious relationship with the press, most notably in her 2008 run for the White House. But 2016 figures to be much different.
Much of the political media disdain Trump, and that feeling is palpable in green rooms in New York City and Washington, D.C.
The thought of a Trump presidency simply scares political journalists for a number of reasons, including his proposal to “open up” libel laws to make it easier to sue media companies.

WNU Editor: The media may help Hillary Clinton .... but they have their own problems. The U.S. public now views the media not as a source of information but as an unreliable and untrustworthy institution .... Just 6 percent of people say they trust the media, putting the news industry on about the same par as Congress and well below the public's view of other institutions (US News and World Report/AP). And calls to regulate media independent from the main stream is causing (not surprising) a visceral response .... First Came the Drudge Link. Then the Death Threats. (Daily Beast/Center for Public Integrity). What's my take .... I started this blog to provide a source of news stories and information independent from the U.S. main stream media .... with a special focus on current wars and conflicts and (now) on foreign policy. If I had the time .... I would do one one politics .... but I would probably end up going certifiably nuts after one year if should go down that course.
