Victoria Nuland, U.S. Embassy, Georgia
Philip Giraldi, The American conservative, The American Conservative: Clinton’s Hawk-in-Waiting
If Hillary wins the White House, expect Victoria Nuland to be at her side.
The other day, a question popped up on a Facebook thread I was commenting on: “Where is Victoria Nuland?” The short answer, of course, is that she is still holding down her position as assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs.
But a related question begs for a more expansive response: Where will Victoria Nuland be after January? Nuland is one of Hillary Clinton’s protégés at the State Department, and she is also greatly admired by hardline Republicans. This suggests she would be easily approved by Congress as secretary of state or maybe even national-security adviser—which in turn suggests that her foreign-policy views deserve a closer look.

WNU Editor: Russia's foreign policy establishment believes this to be the case, which is why they met her (among many other reasons) this week .... U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland In Moscow To Discuss Ukraine (May 18, 2016).
On a side note .... I had to pop a few Alka Seltzer pills after reading this story.

Nuland is a nut-bar, if there ever was one.
Did she bring cookies with her?? Let me get this straight.... She supported ultra right Ukrainian nationalists who overthrew a corrupt Russian backed Ukrainian leader and a sectarian conflict ensued withCrimea seceding back to Russia. So in essence she brought about a coup that failed in reaching its objectives! Russia won! If this is somewhat correct, then she is Perfect to be Hillary's Sec. Of State. It's comparable to Hillary's own failed record as Sec. Of State. What is the world coming too??? God help us!
This is yet another reason among many to oppose Hiliary. Whether Ms Nukand is actually responsible for anything is irrelevent at this point. The Russians clearly seem to hokd her in low regard.
The top priority of the next POTUS needs to be improving relations with Russia. To say associatiing with someone like this is bad optics is a understatement to say the least.
