I must say I agree Aizino. Do we really want to help Iran?
I'd say resoundingly "NO!!" Of course Iran "death to America" cannot be seen publically taking help from America especially after they've spent so much time cultivating anti-Americanism.
Perhaps ISIS is the greater threat. Perhaps we do need to assist Iran. Again, I agree with your position but American leadership cannot or will not even ask the question.
Iran is the leading power in Iraq along with their backers of Russia and China. Why should we spend blood and treasure to help them solidfy their control while we essentially get nothing? It'd likely be better for us if our mortal enemies tear one another apart as disturbing as that is.
We need to redeploy to positions that allow us a fighting chance to defend America. The sooner this is done the better.
