The U.S. Presidential Race Between Donald Trump And Hillary Clinton Has Started
WNU Editor: These stories are summing up what the U.S. Presidential election is going to be like ....
On the Republican side, many in the leadership do not want Donald Trump .... Ryan under GOP fire for Trump remarks (The Hill). And yes .... it looks like Paul Ryan wants to run in 2020 .... EXCLUSIVE: Longtime GOP Backer Says Ryan Wants Trump To Lose (Daily Caller).
On the Democrat side, it is going to get very personal .... EXCLUSIVE: Bill Clinton’s lover - before and AFTER his marriage - tells how 'lumpy' Hillary with her 'fat ankles and hair on her toes' schemed to get her to LIE on 60 Minutes about Bill's other affairs (Daily Mail).
As I said .... as an outsider I have always found U.S. politics fascinating, and it is certainly looks like it is going to be an interesting election season this year.

This will be the most entertaining election I have witnessed in my lifetime.Who ever wins the world will never be the same. Both are detestable human beings,I wish I could come back in 1000 years and read the History of our time I think it would be as entertaining a the History of Rome at it's worst.
Not sure exactly how Mr. Trump is "detestable." While he does have flaws as all humans do, all he has done so far is suggest things that are fairly common sense that any normal nation in America's position would do. For example, he has proposed to renegotiate the ridiculously one-sided trade deals that are destroying us, suggested we should try and work with Mr. Putin of Russia, suggested that the NATO "alliances" along with other military "agreements" need to be renegotiated, and border security needs to be enhanced, as America is facing a de facto invasion from south of its border. As such, building the so called wall is experiential common sense.
So far all he has done is to suggest common sense policies that any sane nation in America's situation would embrace. While the ways in which he has gone about this in many ways are flawed, putting forth common sense solutions even if the methods are not perfect does not make him "detestable." His sometimes questionable methods of going about it do make him "flawed" but all humans are in some way.
Furthermore while America can "influence" the world it does not have the power to change the world as you state "the world will never be the same." Inflating American power does, however, make it easier for those to vilify the country who wish to do so.
I find nothing entertaining in any of this. America's survival is at stake. The nations faces an array of foreign and domestic enemies against it on a level that no nation in the history of the world has ever faced. It's going to take a miracle along the level of the parting of the Red Sea for America to survive the next four years.
The best that can probably be hoped for is the country somehow manages to survive the next five years until a new president can be elected and sworn in. In this situation, the best legacy that Mr. Trump can leave is he started people talking about common sense solutions like those outlined above and perhaps a less flawed person can actually implement them in time for the country to survive.
Not sure how Rome applies to this situation. While there may be some similarities, during it's peak Rome controlled much of the known world. In it's time, relatively speaking the United States has only a fraction of the power that Rome had.
Finally, the next POTUS is going to be dealing with the loss of the US dollar as world reserve currency. This cannot be prevented. What is there plan to deal with this? If one from another country is going to observe US elections, this would be a good question for the moderators to ask in a debate between the candidates.
For what it's worth, my "solution" would be to begin negotiating with the primary powers of Russia and china on the replacement for the US dollar and the implementation of the new system along with the Western European nations. The goal would be to try and ensure a "soft landing" as opposed to a "hard landing."
I say "solution" because there probably are not any good solutions. Sometimes, in life, when people make a series of bad choices over an extended period of time the only choices left are picking the least bad choice available.
I will reiterate what I've stated here before. Mr. Trump is NOT my first choice for POTUS. With that said I'm not sure how advocating common sense solutions to problems as he has makes him "detestable."
