U.S. - Turkish Relations Are Deteriorating After Friday's Failed Coup Attempt

Quartz: Turkey threatens war on “any country” supporting exiled cleric Gülen—like the US

Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim has threatened war against any country that would “stand by” Turkish cleric Fethullah Gülen.

This is a pointed threat towards the United States, where Gülen has been living in self-imposed exile since 1999. The implicit demand, according to BBC’s Turkey correspondent Mark Lowen, is that the US must extradite Gülen.

Gülen is the leader of a movement called Hizmet, and has been called Turkey’s second most powerful man. Hizmet is estimated to have the support of 10% of Turkey’s population, and Turkey’s president Recep Tayyip Erdogan claims Gülen was behind the recent attempted coup.

But the cleric has strongly denied that this is the case and the US has asked Turkey for evidence to support the accusations

Every doorway in the Presidential palace will have to be widened to accomodate Erdogan's large, and growing, head. He figures that because he has managed to thwart a few incompetent coupsters with his proto-fasc Islamic rabble that now it's time to take on the Godfather of fascist rabbles.

He's making a huge mis-step.

Erdogan's world is about to get a lot more complicated. He may even find out first hand what real remote control regime change looks like.

I wouldn't give Gulen, if they want to go to war over something Erdogan probably staged, so be it.

I see this is as one of those 'the neighbour has a rented rubbish bin in their driveway and I have an old toilet I need to get rid of ' opportunities. So, since the Turks are interested in ass**** immigration, it'd be no Gulen unless
Obama, Hillary and Trampolini come too. Otherwise no deal.

If the dummies agreed, I'd send them the Three Stooges and keep Gulen as the ever (un) popular installed seedy ex-pat puppet with fake diploma in waiting.

On top of that I'd tell the Sultan that if he didn't have the power on quick, fast and in a hurry, the Cookie Monster will be in Taksim in time for Eid.

Shit's goin' git real.

And you know we ain't bluffin' as we're sure y'all are familiar with the well known Yuro(outta here)Maidyanne.

And don't give us any uh dat "Iahz elected" routine.

If there's anybody 'bout to be elected, we done picked 'em already.
