CNN: 50 GOP national security experts oppose Trump
Washington (CNN)Fifty prominent Republican foreign policy and national security experts -- many veterans of George W. Bush's administration -- have signed a letter denouncing Donald Trump's presidential candidacy and pledging not to vote for him.
The letter, first reported by The New York Times Monday, warns: "We are convinced that in the Oval Office, he would be the most reckless President in American history."
Its signatories include former CIA and National Security Agency Director Michael Hayden, former Director of National Intelligence and Deputy Secretary of State John Negroponte and Eric Edelman, who was Vice President Dick Cheney's national security adviser and has worked closely with Michele Flournoy -- a candidate for secretary of defense in a prospective Clinton administration -- to forge a centrist group of defense experts on key military issues.

These "Neo Cons" have no credibility. Not one of these people ever attacked Obama in such a manner. Not in 2008 and not in 2012. Establishment, Georgetown townhouse, cocktail parties and connections... That's all they trade in. Cronies all. If you're not in the elite political class, you're of the unwashed and unintelligent caste that need only be patted on the head and told what's good for you. Their arrogance is insulting.

The "nicest" thing any of those 50 on the list called President Obama, was "illigitimate Kenyan Usurper". That's not what they call him in private.\
\
Carter started appointing NeoCon's to posts, it accelerated during Reagan, then Bush, then Clinton to the point that under Bush II, NeoCon's ran the entire US Government, from the clerk who took your Passport application, to the Joint Chiefs of Staff.\
\
President Obama has pushed back, but until the US embraces Stalinist Purges once again, ( 50's, 60's, '70's), the NeoCon's will continue to dominate inside the US Government and breed and promote, new NeoCons.
They are a 5th Column inside the US Government, until you root them out, no matter who you have as a President, they will dominate and influence US Policy.
Hey Jay, are they from the same universities, backgrounds, etc?
The most dangerous president in US history was Obama, he has weakened the US's position considerably because he is a lame duck.
Thanks for the group resignation letter.
Turfy...this may come as new idea to you but every president becomes a lame duck unless replaced while in office because of assassination.
