Al Jazeera: Obama: ISIL still a threat despite coalition gains

US president outlines progress in fight against ISIL but cautions that the group can still inspire small-scale attacks.

US President Barack Obama has touted gains in the campaign against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), but cautioned that the group, also known as ISIS, can still direct and inspire damaging attacks.

Speaking after meeting with top aides at the Pentagon, Obama said on Thursday that ISIL will continue to be a threat, highlighting the group's ability to motivate so-called "lone wolf" supporters to launch small-scale attacks that are harder to detect and prevent.

Obama: ISIL still a threat despite coalition gains

Which coalition's gains?

The American-Kurdish-FSA (?) one or the far larger Russian-Iranians-Syrian-Iraqi-Hezbo one?

What about ISIL gains every where else?

So Obozo did a little dog and pony show to hopefully carry his poll #s over while he stays at the richy-rich enclave of MV.

It would be much easier for terrorists to attack the Hamptons than Martha's Vinyard. Why does he not vacation in the Hamptons? Is he scared? Does he know that he has f cked up American security that much?

Actually Jeb Bush would not do much better than Obama. He is the RINO impersonation of the wooden, tree-like Al Gore.

No wall. Obama makes the Border Patrol post safe routes into the U.S. on their website, etc.

The Beat goes on. We are so screwed.
