With the pressure on Mosul and Aleppo both, with the replacement pipeline closed, heavy air bombardment and Soleiman at Aleppo, I take it as gospel that Aleppo will fall before Obama leaves office.
I do not know the exact date, how many refugees or the death toll.
Soleiman is on the ground and the Russians are in the air. Stick a fork in it.

In the Long War Journal piece, the commentor Moose made an excellent observation. That coupled with the official explanation of Bagher Soleimani's death is worth noting.
