WNU Editor: Went skiing all day .... just got in and I am now reading about a Trump-Putin summit. This is what happens when you do not bring your cell phone and you are having fun .... you miss the news. My sources in Russia are telling me that the Kremlin has agreed to this summit, and that the specific details on what will be discussed will be ironed out after the inauguration. But there are some who are saying that this summit has not been agreed upon (yet) .... Trump's Representative Refutes Reports About Summit With Putin in Reykjavik (Sputnik). As to what is my take .... both men are showmen and both men want to make history .... they are going to meet soon, and Reykjavik is a great place to start. Their focus will be to find common ground, and they will begin on focusing on a common enemy .... radical Islam and the current wars being waged in the Middle East. The other issues .... Ukraine, Cold War II, sanctions, etc. .... will be discussed later.

WNU,
You are right: we have to start by the beginning which is making the state of the situation and agree with the priorities for the future. It will be a long way because the list is long, but that's a good reason to start early.
Reykjavik, that's interesting.
Anonymous,
I don't share your points but that's not the most important: you have a strong lack of strategy. China is our first one enemy and has no real ally...except good relation with Russia which is going better and better. We have to isolate China for an easier fight. That's also a common interest with Russia because China is looking more and more on Siberia for the future. That's it.
