China And Russia Agree To Deploy Countermeasures' Against U.S. THAAD Deployment On The Korean Peninsula

Reuters: China, Russia agree on more 'countermeasures' against U.S. anti-missile system: Xinhua

China and Russia have agreed to take further unspecified "countermeasures" in response to a U.S. plan to deploy an anti-missile system in South Korea, state news agency Xinhua reported on Friday.

The countermeasures "will be aimed at safeguarding interests of China and Russia and the strategic balance in the region", Xinhua said, citing a statement released after a China-Russia security meeting.

China and Russia held a joint anti-missile drill last May after Washington and Seoul began discussions over installing the U.S. Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system to counter any North Korean threats.

Russia and China are well aware that THAAD and Ageis deployments arn't "aimed" at Iran or the NORK's,

It's aimed at them.

Counter measures to the countermeasures!!!

A THAAD missile that is fired is aimed at which Chinese or Russian city?

The next time the NORKers launch a missile, it should be shot down. PERIOD.

Correct, it is not aimed at Russia for christs sake.

'Not what they think.'

Who the Fuck gives a flying fuck what they think!

1) It is like some pipsqueak (Kim Jung In) keeps wildly firing arrows.

2) So you buy a tower shield.

3) the 2 bullies behind the pipsqueak, who egg him on, cry foul.

Well, every body can understand that's THAAD radar is so powerful it can undermine their deterrent's even it is an only defensive weapon. But are they kidding? When Russia install S-400 close to an other country the problem is the same, when China install missiles on the South China Sea "for defense only", that's also a joke.

What Russia and China "think" is how they will determine their counter policies,

Such as possibly deploying Iskander missile batteries to Eastern Russia and selling the missiles or the tech to China.

Eastern Iskander's don't just "raise the pot" in the Korean Penninsula, but also the South China Sea.

AustroHungary didn't care what Serbia or it's Allies thought one little bit, and where are they now.

Any "deployment" policy that pulls Russia and China onto common ground is counterproductive to current US Goals.

Nope.

The difference is that 1 Patriot Battery can take out the NORK arsenal.

THAAD is such overkill that it can only be aimed at Russia and China.

Iskander and S-400 deployments arrived in Kalinograd almost 4 years after NATO' s Russia is the Enemy orientation shift away from Afghanistan and ISIS, 3 year's after NATO's first wargame in decades based on taking Kalinograd.

China started building South China Sea bases 5 years after the Pentagon announced it's Pivoit to Asia policy in Warfighting.
