The Independent: Former MI6 agent Christopher Steele's frustration as FBI sat on Donald Trump Russia file for months
Exclusive: Steele was so concerned by revelations he worked without payment after Trump's election victory in November.
Christopher Steele, the former MI6 agent who investigated Donald Trump’s alleged Kremlin links, was so worried by what he was discovering that at the end he was working without pay, The Independent has learned.
Mr Steele also decided to pass on information to both British and American intelligence officials after concluding that such material should not just be in the hands of political opponents of Mr Trump, who had hired his services, but was a matter of national security for both countries.
However, say security sources, Mr Steele became increasingly frustrated that the FBI was failing to take action on the intelligence from others as well as him. He came to believe there was a cover-up, that a cabal within the Bureau blocked a thorough inquiry into Mr Trump, focusing instead on the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails.

WNU Editor: Christopher Steele's Mother Jones interview/article is here .... The Spy Who Wrote the Trump-Russia Memos: It Was "Hair-Raising" Stuff (Mother Jones). After a week of non-stop news coverage on this story my take is still the same ..... who knows what the truth really is, but if given a choice .... I suspect that this dossier is mostly gossip and talk. The British tabloid The SUN is saying that Christopher Steele was paid $130,000 to do this report .... IT'S JUST GOSSIP Ex-MI6 spy Christopher Steele charged £130,000 for Trump ‘dirty dossier’ and ‘sexed it up to please the people paying him’ (The SUN). If true .... some of that money had to go and pay-off people in Russia .... after-all .... they have to be the source for his information. And take it from this Russian blogger .... it is truly amazing how a few hundred bucks can spin an interesting tale from almost anyone in Russia today. But this little titbit of information is being conveniently ignored right now, and for President-Elect Trump's political opponents (including many in the media) .... they want this story to be true, and they are going to push it even though no one has presented any evidence that there is any truth behind it.
Update: This is so typical of the main stream media .... NBC is calling Christopher Steele "A Real-Life James Bond .... Christopher Steele, Trump Dossier Author, Is a Real-Life James Bond (NBC). The Daily Mail is quoting Christopher Steele's bosses at MI6 who are calling him an idiot .... 'I introduced him to my wife as James Bond': Former spy Chris Steele's friends describe a 'show-off' 007 figure but MI6 bosses brand him 'an idiot' for an 'appalling lack of judgement' over the Trump 'dirty dossier' (Daily Mail). So who is right?
Update #3: Not surprising .... President-Elect Trump is not impressed by former MI6 agent Christopher Steele .... Donald Trump brands Christopher Steele a 'failed spy' who conspired with 'sleazebag political operatives' (The Telegraph)

Jabber believes.
There are no such things as coincidences.
As I said previously, we have to expect Trump being hammered 24/7 on any subject even one which are not existing.
The political class can't swallow a guy who campaign as "not being political which talk a lot and do nothing" and win. Even Republican's are reluctant to support him.
