Donald Trump has announced that he will meet intelligence officials on Friday to be briefed over alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
The president-elect repeated his skepticism that the Kremlin had hacked Democratic Party computers last year, writing that it was "very strange" that his intelligence briefing had apparently been delayed.
The Republican has clashed repeatedly with the intelligence community as he prepares to take office on January 20.
Mr Trump's spokesman, Sean Spicer, said on Monday that there was "zero evidence that [Russia] influenced the election".
He told Fox News that Mr Trump was getting national security briefings "on a daily basis" and "there doesn't seem to be conclusive evidence" Russians were behind the hacking of Democratic emails during the election.

WNU Editor: This does not make any sense. He is going to be the President in 16 days .... and he wants his intelligence briefing on the intelligence community's assessment on why they believed Russia tried to influence the U.S. election by hacking the DNC and other servers. We have been told that the evidence is conclusive .... President Obama expelled 35 Russian diplomats based on this intelligence assessment .... so why the delay?
Update: NBC News, quoting an unnamed senior intelligence official, said the briefing Trump alluded to had always been planned for Friday. Hmmm .... I saw the news video clips of President-elect Trump a few days ago saying that he was having his briefing on Tuesday/Wednesday. Who decides when he should get his briefing .... him of or the intel community? I know in my case .... when I had a boss .... if he wanted a report on Tuesday .... that report better be on his desk on Tuesday.
