Real Clear Politics: Feinstein: Russia Interfered And "Altered" The Outcome Of The Election
CHUCK TODD: Let me go to the investigation. You've seen the unclassified versions of this intel report. Do you have any doubt in your mind that Russia tried to interfere in the election? And then second, do you believe it altered the outcome?
SEN. DIANNE FEINSTEIN: The answer is yes on both cases.
CHUCK TODD: You truly -- you believe--
SEN. DIANNE FEINSTEIN: I truly --
CHUCK TODD: -- it altered the outcome.
SEN. DIANNE FEINSTEIN: -- that's what I believe. I've had all of the major classified briefings. I have been astonished at what has been a two-year effort at Russia to spearfish, to hack, to provide disinformation, propaganda, wherever it really could. And I think this has been a very sophisticated effort.
I think in our classified sessions, we will be able to get down to the depth and breadth of it. I hope so. I spoke yesterday twice with Senator Warner, who is our new vice chairman. And he reviewed with me the terms of this agreement. This investigation has to be full and robust. If it isn't, both of us will go toward an outside panel. But we cannot ignore what has happened. To ignore it is really to commit ourselves to a very bad future.

Update: 'Future of America' at stake with hacking, Feinstein says (The Hill).
WNU Editor: Is U.S. democracy threatened .... and is America gripped by fear .... U.S. Senator Feinstein certainly believes this is the case. What's my take .... I must confess that I am surprised .... I never knew how fragile the entire U.S. political system was/is .... that a few hacks can bring it down. I thought it was always stronger than that.

Diane Feinstein is the stereotypical progresso-facist. Anything coming from her mouth is suspect.
A few hacks are bringing down the US political system, but I'm hacks of a different sort, political hacks who can't give up the idea that they're supposed to run the world, hack writers who repeat every nonsense feed to them as if it were the gospel, no matter how fake it is. These hacks, the neo-cons and liberal interventionists, with their over-the-top McCarthyite methods, are the real threat to American governance, not Russia.
WNU Editor,
Google "democracy fragile".
The democrats and the media are simply too proud to admit that they lost because they forgot the basic rules of running for office. You can't insult the intelligence of the majority of the voters in the country with a nominee like Hilary Clinton and then be upset when she loses. Did Russian trolls help Trump's campaign a little? Sure. Did it swing the entire election? Of course not. Threatening blue collar jobs, being obviously for sale to Wall Street, rigging primaries, all contributed to the appalling image that Clinton's campaign earned itself. Russia is simply a convenient scapegoat.
Jay. 12,400,000 results. Like I said .... just a few hacks can bring it all down.
Democracy has always been fragile,
Coupled with other events, ( Comey, etc) yes, fake news and some hacks can bring it down.
The US has done it 68 times to other countries.
In Australia in the '70's, all it took was one highly placed asset.

Diane Feinstein is the political whore, who has a concealed carry, but what to deny everyone else theirs.
The pampered rich person should be disregarded.
Oh po 'lil Jay!
Jay finds Comey underneath his bunk bed.
Hillary should have been indicted 18 months ago. The Democrat party should have ran someone else.
The email server scandal should have sunk her career permanently in 2015.
Good old Feinstein...never knows when to keep her mouth shut.

We don't and never have had a democracy in the US or Canada, we get to vote for candidates that are select by the parties, controlled by the money boys. It can't be in danger if it never existed. The Lying old bag, should be in jail.
"Her announcement was "premature" and could compromise the case against the killer, one officer said. "It was a buffoon statement," snorted a second officer. "There goes the gun into the bay." All the officers asked to remain anonymous."

The political whore Diane Feinstein is entitled to blurt and give away secrets.
As a "Woman of the people", a Democrat, and an entitled rich _____, she has that Democrat Party given power and Complicit Media cover.
In 1980, Feinstein married Richard C. Blum, an investment banker. In 2003, Feinstein was ranked the fifth-wealthiest senator, with an estimated net worth of US$26 million.
