Daily Mail: Some things never change! Obama heads out back on the golf course for a round on ultra-exclusive estate owned by billionaire Larry Ellison on his first day as a regular citizen

* The 44th president was up at 9am Pacific time for a trip to a country club's gym
* It was near the Rancho Mirage, CA, home where he and Michelle are staying with friends for a two-week vacation.
* He was pictured in a Secret Service SUV leaving the private community of Thunderbird Heights and heading to the country club for a workout
* Beside him in the SUV was his host James Costos, who was the ex-president's ambassador to Spain
* Then he went out to play golf at Porcupine Creek, a course owned by Oracle billionaire Larry Ellison
* Former first couple's final trip on the presidential flight was extended when it could not land at Palm Springs because of bad weather conditions

Former President Barack Obama headed straight to the golf course to celebrate his first day as a civilian.

Obama's motorcade headed to the ultra-exclusive Porcupine Creek Golf Club in Rancho Mirage, California about 11.30am on Saturday where the former president played 18 holes.

He looked relaxed as he made his way around the golf club wearing light blue Under Armor golf jersey, Nike socks and shoes, grey trousers and a grey baseball cap.
