Real Clear Politics: Assange To Hannity: Source For WikiLeaks Was Not Russian Government
In an exclusive interview with FOX News Channel's Sean Hannity the founder of WikiLeaks Julian Assange said Russia was not the source for the DNC and John Podesta hacks.
HANNITY: Can you say to the American people, unequivocally, that you did not get this information about the DNC, John Podesta's emails, can you tell the American people 1,000 percent that you did not get it from Russia or anybody associated with Russia?
JULIAN ASSANGE: Yes. We can say, we have said, repeatedly that over the last two months that our source is not the Russian government and it is not a state party.

Update: WikiLeaks founder: Obama admin trying to ‘delegitimize' Trump (The Hill).
WNU Editor: This is an interview that the New York Times/Washington Post/NBC/CBS/ABC/60 Minutes/etc. should be doing .... not Sean Hannity. This lack of interest from the main stream media on Julian Assnage .... but total focus on what the Obama White House has to say .... tells me volumes on what is the state of the news media in American today. I will be updating this story tomorrow (Tuesday) morning.

Instead of worrying about the Russians rhe Democrats need to be trying to figure out who the mole/leaker is in their own party. Those who are unable to learn from failure are doomed to continue to fail.
LMAO,
A classic non -answer.
"Not the Russian Government, not a State actor"
Never thought I'd find myself playing devils advocate here...
Julian Assange is not someone the media wants to give airtime. That much is obvious. Why would they? Giving him air time to a very controversial figure like Assange would probably not be a wise move in the politics of the media.
Nor is Assange offering up anything credible to say that the Russians didn't have anything to do with it. Same way the Obama administration is not offering up anything credible to backup their claims that the Russians are responsible. No evidence whatsoever which indicates that there was no hack and Trump won because the people voted for him.
But hey, that's a dull news story, right?
So when you say it speaks volumes on what is the state of the news media in America, does it really? We could likely safely argue that the current state of the media is in the pockets of the current administration and that they are incredibly biased. That's something I'd safely bet on.
But I don't think NOT giving someone like Assange airtime to speak his views really speaks volumes. And at the end of the day, he's only going to toot what he's been saying all this time; the Russians are not involved. And the media are not interested in pushing that.
And the media has always been biased, when has it never been?
Plowman,
"And the media has always been biased, when has it never been?"
That is a concept that tons of people have either refused or cannot accept. To believe in the ideal of a totally unbiased press is foolishness and an avoidance of personal responsibility.
The Dem's little snipe hunt will likely lead right back at them. The leaker/mole/whatever was probably a guy named Seth Rich - who is conveniently dead. Shot in the back 6 times last July in Washington DC in a "mugging" in which nothing was robbed from his corpse.
". but total focus on what the Obama White House has to say .... tells me volumes on what is the state of the news media in American today"
The MSM is the press wing of the Democrat Party.
A reporter is often a Democrat political operative with a byline.
Stephanopoulus is just one of the more obvious examples.

If what you say about Seth Rich is true, one wonders why they did not take the wallet to throw off investigators.
You take the wallet and burn it . With the wallet gone police are more likely it is a robbery gone bad.
That is if they did not take the wallet to send a message to other nomenklatura in the Democrat faction.
