Venezuelans Are Now Fleeing To The U.S. In Record Numbers

WNU Editor: Here comes he next waves of refugees/migrants .... Venezuela now leads US asylum requests as crisis deepens (AP). Am I surprised? No. I have been predicting this for the past few months .... The Threat Of Mass Migration Looms For Venezuela (January 2, 2017). Millions fled Cuba for a better life .... I expect the same will happen for Venezuela.

My hope is that these immigrants will be of the same mind set as the majority of Cuban emigres; That they are fed up with the way things are in Venezuela and hope to make a future in the US as capitalist-minded Americans.

They won't be but I like your optimism. Venezuela is an enemy of the United States. Any "refugees" trying to enter the United States need to be treated as invaders and dealt with in the way normal people deal with such.

I meant any "refugees" from Venezuela need to be treated as enemies trying to invade the country. There may be cases where we may want to welcome refugees but Venezuela is not one of those cases.

Of course the typical US response is to welcome any and all refugees with open arms absent any serious vetting kind of like a school girl experiencing her first crush. Obviously such an approach is inadvisable and only those who are pathologically insane would consider it. Then again pathologically insane is an apt description of much of the US government.

YC: Always the US's fault. If the US did not exist, you'd need to invent it. You and those who support your position have invented and perpetrated the myth of an all encompassing and influential United States. In many cases the messaging against the US bears little difference to the messaging against the Jews by Nazi Germany in the 1930s. We know how that one ended and that messaging was only limited to Germany. The anti-American message is being spread worldwide.

While Americans and their leaders probably should think more on Venezuela, they typically don't except for the occasiobal criticism. The Venezuelan invader is not welcome here. You want them in Canada go for it!!

Personally I think they'd be better off eithout Maduro but America has no ability to affect that. Of course blaming America has no costs, is hugely profitable to those in the media and leadership positions eho do, and absolved said leaders of taking any responsibility for the messes they create.

Did the U.S. mismanage Venezuelan oil production all to fuck?

This after young communists and old communists in Venezuela mismanaged Venezuela's hydro-electric power.

How is it that Venezuela does not have enough money to ship their oil to market? Maybe it is because THEY HAVE PEOPLE LIKE Young Communist, A KNOWN IDIOT, in positions of power in Venezuela.



I wonder if Young idiot has a saleable skill. Being up to speed on Marxists dialectic is not a saleable skill in the long term.

I have a spouse that is up on their Marxist dialectic. funny, but that never got them a job or solved any problems. Young Communist you are one of the worst POS that I know of and that is saying a lot.
