At The White House Briefing Room, National Security Adviser McMaster Denies Reports That President Trump Disclosed Any Vital Intelligence Secrets

The Hill: McMaster: Trump didn't know where intel came from

National security adviser H.R. McMaster on Tuesday said President Trump did not jeopardize intelligence assets by revealing highly sensitive information to Russian officials, adding that Trump did not know where the intel came from.

Speaking to reporters at the White House, McMaster disputed the “premise” of media reports that Trump put intelligence sources in jeopardy by disclosing the information, saying it was “wholly appropriate” for the president to discuss.

"The president in no way undermined sources or methods in the course of this conversation,” he said.

Update: National Security Adviser Gen. H.R. McMaster to brief press -- live updates (CBS).

WNU Editor: The media are upset that National security adviser H.R. McMaster is denying their reports that President Trump jeopardized intelligence assets by revealing highly sensitive information to Russian officials, and that the premise of the entire Washington Post story is wrong. Here is an easy prediction .... his denials are not going to change the main stream media's narrative.

The gen did not deny the question asked if any classified materials had been discussed. And then there is this as well as confirmation here, via Tass

The White House kept U.S. photographers out, and didn't put any photo record out until a day after the fact.

The White House flickr account did not post a Kislyak photo with the president.

The official White House readout of Trump's meeting didn't mention that Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak was there.

Fred. I read Russian. The Raw Story article is misleading. TASS is quoting the Washington Post .... TASS is definitely not confirming anything.

The White House is always slow in posting pictures. I use them all the time because of copyright. During President Obama's tenure pictures were usually posted days later (much to my annoyance).

As for Erick Erickson claiming that he knows the leaker .... really?!?!?

Russian President Putin has been pushing for a one to one talk with President Trump since the election. That will happen at the G20 summit.

President Obama preferred to talk with Putin by phone. This all started when he got burned by an RT crew caught when they caught this conversation with him and Medvedev .... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNxEDomUlXw .... and where one can make a very effective argument that he was colluding with the Russians on the 2012 US Presidential election.
