WNU Editor: He and fellow officer Crystal Griner prevented what could have been the worst massacre of U.S. lawmakers in U.S. history. One can only shudder on what would have been the impact politically if a number of U.S. Republican Senators and Congressmen were killed .... and the reaction of the American public to such an atrocity. On a side note .... you would think that after this shooting the vitriol and hate from the left would calm down for a least a little while. Instead .... from the tweets and progressive sites that I read daily .... their condescending and insulting altitude has only intensified. And what I find funny about all of this ..... the more they behave like this, the more they believe that America stands behind them. If what I read on progressive sites is true .... the Democrats and their progressives allies firmly believe that 2018 will be the year that they win big in Congress .... and proceedings for the impeachment of Trump will then quickly follow. I say the opposite .... they are alienating the mass majority of America .... and the funny part of it is that they do not even know it.

ok, not directly related to the left vs right thing, or trump.. but I hope the Republican lawmakers now realize that a black guy saved them and that they will remember this when passing the next laws.. this guy is a hero!
wait what... call on Trump to cool tone? What has he been saying that could have caused that? This was CNN with their non-stop 24/7 breaking news of innuendo and accusations without any freaking proof. OK ultimately the guy who shoots is the responsible, but CNN and this type of "making money with sensational claims" has gone too far

Of course they have. Condescension is a trademark of the left. They look at anybody who disagrees with them as inferior and immoral. Don't believe me? Just look at Jay's comment above. It's one of the reasons they lost to Trump, even though he was the second most disliked candidate to ever run for president.
When I was growing up, it was the Republicans who were viewed as 'Bible thumpers' - basically lecturing America on how to act and what they needed to believe in. Many hated them because, in general, people dislike being talked down to. Fast forward to today and abortion is legal, gay marriage is legal so Republicans have moved to other issues (debt, terrorism, deregulation, etc)...basically not being as big of 'Bible thumpers' anymore.
Today, the Democrats are the 'Bible thumpers', just not focused on the Bible. Their Bible is leftism. The Democrats have basically made all arguments for their platform a moral one. If you disagree with them on immigration you're a xenophobe; on transgenderism you're a homophobe or trans-phobic; on the best way to structure our healthcare system you're a nazi; on how to educate the young you're either a nazi, hate children, or hate teachers; on criminal justice a racist; on terrorism you're a racist islamaphobe. This goes on and on and on - basically if you disagree with them on anything you're deplorable.
My message to Democrats: please, keep doing this! Talking down to people, being condescending, just in general being an ass...please keep doing this! Please keep helping us bring back conservatism! It's dominating now and continuing to gain steam....keep it up Democrats, please!
