Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke on the phone with U.S. President Donald Trump on June 30, while Brett McGurk, the U.S. special envoy for the coalition to defeat the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), was holding discussions in Ankara following his visit to northern Syria.
The phone conversation between Erdoğan and U.S. President Trump ended on the afternoon on June 30, with the Turkish president also set to hold a phone call with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) spokesperson Mahir Ünal stated.

I've never quite understood why turkey deosnt like the Kurds...??? Also if the Americans get along so well with the Kurds why wouldn't they somehow be able to just let them all just move to the states so they wouldn't have to fight all the time for land and make tax paying citizens out of them in the free world? From what I gather the Kurds seem like nice people and whatnot don't seem like militants also whybdeosnt Turley make concessions to them or just drop the bullshit ego crap and all just get along...
