A year and two weeks ago (the date is important as you will find out) this humble editor decided to spoil himself for once. He (that's me) purchased one kick ass 34" monitor that would do everything for him. Sighhh .... it just fried on me 2 hours ago, and the warranty expired 2 weeks ago. I am now using an old 18" monitor to do this blog and I cannot (or should I say will not) use my iMacs for his blog.
I forgot what using an 18" monitor feels like. Memo to all readers .... its not the same. :(
I am off to get a new monitor. Blogging will return within the hour.

WNU,
You're in Canada. You probably hurt it's feelings talking about it in inches instead of centimeters. They can be very sensitive.
Sorry to learn that. All things break. Things fall apart...as the writer said; I can't go on. I must go on. Why can you not use your Imac? they are costly, as you note, but I am delighted with how they handle and the great support that in the past I have needed and got.
Fred. I love my imac pros .... I use one for my business interests, and the other for a special web project. But when it comes to this blog .... because I am copying and pasting all the time .... the Apple platform just takes to long to do what I want to do. So I use an independent computer for WNU .... and I do so not because of editing reasons ,.... but also because I have lost count over the years on the many attempts that have been made to hijack this blog.
I think u do a great job. I read though these every morning an afternoon. Thank you and keep up the great work
I feel the same away about my six year old alienware laptop that is dying. Everything else screenwize looks dim. Sigh.
