The AP is the world's largest news wire service .... and what they produced is posted by thousands of news outlets. Errors like this one .... and one that was not corrected for quite awhile .... just feeds into the public perception that the media is either incompetent or bias.

These news outlets have huge audiences, and they will add to the ideological diversity of the White House press corps.
