Arab refugees watching anti-G20 riots in Hamburg from the relative safety of a falafel joint said on Saturday the rioters were insane for destroying their tolerant adoptive city and were astonished by what they saw as the police's restraint.
"If people did this in Egypt they would be shot," said Ibrahim Ali, a 29-year-old Egyptian who came here in 2011. "The state provides everything: housing, unemployment benefits and education. Yet those people are not happy. I don't get it."
Ali and two more refugees from Syria and Egypt were serving beer, falafel, hummus, tabouleh salad and other Middle Eastern delights to protesters who had started leaving the Sternschanze quarter as police special units moved in against the rioters.
"They are crazy. I can't believe my eyes," said Mohammad Halabi, 32, a Syrian who arrived in Germany as a refugee some 18 months ago. "They have such a beautiful country and they're destroying it."

WNU Editor: All immigrants from poor or authoritarian countries feel like this when they see Westerners riot and needlessly destroy other people's property. I had a taste of this a few years ago when I was caught in the middle of a riot in Montreal and I was teargassed. The students were rioting because their university tuition cost was going up from around $3,000/year to about $4,200/year spread out over a few years. Yup .... students rioting because their tuition for an entire year from a world class university was being raised to $4,200/year at some point in the far future .... while elsewhere in the world .... parents who dream of sending their kids to university are facing tuition rates many multiples of that. Are we living in a bizarre world .... you betcha.

I looked up the definition of cougar & cuckold. They both fit.
In this day and age Macron's wife would have been fired if not imprisoned. the dam on prosecuting females teachers just as hard as male teachers began about 5 years ago (that dam bursted). Now the stories in the press are monotonous in their regularity of female teachers getting arrested, jailed and prosecuted.
Macron will have no issue. Therefore, the term I used.

I checked Macron's degree. It was in public affairs. I consider it a worthless degree.
I see nothing but the system cutting this guy slack until he gets to the top and they cannot explain it anymore.
"Ban all petrol." This is a hit like saying one is going to ban oxegen. Humans need oxegyn to live and modern civilization needs petrol. As such, you cannot ban it at any time. If the story is true and given the track record of other powerful Western European officials it likely is, this is further evidence that these people need to be cut loose.
They seem intent on committing suicide. Perhaps they will come to their senses before it is to late. We cannot help them.

When cars were 1st develop they tried gasoline, diesel, steam power & electrics. Since the 1st heady days of development that has not been as much research, but that has been remedied in the last few decades.
I have sincere problems with people with 'public policy' degrees decreeing especially in 5 year plans that a certain amount (X) of progress will be made.
Mr. "Public Policy" degree a.k.a. Macron does not know much about materials or physics.
But he did read Hegel in college and he did stay in an Holiday Inn Express.
So it is not all chutzpah on his part.
