The Telegraph: Royal Navy scrambles to shadow Chinese warships in English Channel as they head to Baltics for first war games with Russia
The Royal Navy scrambled a warship to shadow a Chinese flotilla as it steamed through the English Channel en route to meet Russian vessels for manoeuvres in the Baltic Sea.
The trio of Chinese warships passed through the Strait of Dover under the watch of the HMS Richmond, a Type 23 frigate, at the weekend.

Haha haha haha hook who
I thought this was possible nineteen years ago or more accurately I anticipated it could/would happen. Frankly what surprises me is it took this long for China to do this. The United States needs to study these war drills by Russia and China as closely as we can and try and learn. These are arguably the world's dominant military powers who will be conducting war drills. There is much we could learn from observing them.
B. Poster, would you rather get bent over by Xi or Putin?
Nick,
I'm not sure what you are talking about. Please read the current posts as well as others I have made here in their entirety, evaluate the context, and then make your reply. It's also helpful to read the links posted by the editor.
Had you done so you would understand where I am coming from and the point I am trying to make. Suggesting that you carefully study the tactics and strategies of your adversaries, trying to ascertain their next moves, being properly prepared, and being willing to pursue diplomatic opportunities when trying to solve problems does not suggest someone is looking to "get bent." Such actions are generally known among sane people as being the actions taken by prudent and sober minded people.
nick is being a little school boy...a verbal form of wanking
I thought carriers were obsolete and easily sunk, but now that these Soviet coal-powered hulks come along we need to study them?
B. Poster would like to be the sandwich in the middle
