South Korean Intelligence: North Korea's Missiles Do Not Have The Ability To Survive Re-Entry

ABC News Online: North Korea's claims of intercontinental ballistic missile re-entry capability disputed by South Korea

South Korea's intelligence agency does not believe North Korea has secured re-entry capabilities for its intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) program, a South Korean politician has said, disputing Pyongyang's account.

North Korea launched what was said to be a nuclear-capable ICBM last week as it presses on with its nuclear and missile programs in defiance of United Nations sanctions.

Pyongyang's state media said last week's test successfully verified the atmospheric re-entry of the warhead loaded on the test-launched Hwasong-14 missile, which experts say may be able to reach the US state of Alaska.

It's the NORK's first ICBM launch, but they did get reentry,

Unless they lucked out and got it right the first time, they don't have "reentry" tech yet,

But they probably got data:

Its basically an enhanced SCUD. Reentry was reported a success back in May.

Yeah and reentry is not difficult to survive... you can get that super strong scotch tape anywhere these days...that combined with some heat conducting paste from your last PC rig build and you're all set^^
